Film Fest Campus Ladies

The ladies are putting together a Chick-Flick marathon. thank you Valerie for coming up with the idea and putting a movie list into action. The tentative list has about 10 films. The marathon is gonna go a little like this:
favourite foods (puttin' on a winter coat)
favourite v-sister films
favourite comfortable pants
favourite vision video...


not only is this just an all-time-favorite, but it is like a love-carnival for some of our favorite actors: Mary-Louise Parker, Mary Stuart Masterson, Jessica Tandy, and Kathy Bates. this is also one of the few movies for which i have mysteriously hallucinated a sexual encounter between the main characters.

this film was chosen as our Cate Blanchette film. the release of Elizabeth: The Golden Age has brought back some very tender memories of the fall of the Roman Catholic church and my broken heart circa 1998.

this film is packed full of quotable moments. there is also an amazing cameo performance by Ivana Trump where she drops a classic line.
